What is workplace health and wellbeing coaching?

Workplace Health & Wellbeing coaching is an evidence-based approach to improve workforce wellbeing.

Coaching champions and empowers employees at all levels to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing by making positive changes to their physical and mental health, improving resilience, and promoting long-term behaviour change.

My specialist one-one and group coaching is designed to compliment broader workforce wellbeing strategies, by providing targeted and inclusive support for individuals who need it (or groups that share similar challenges). These could include people who have occupational health referrals, those experiencing increased pressure in their roles, people affected by organisational change or simply people who want to reduce stress and make healthier lifestyle changes.

What impact will coaching have?

Many employees are reluctant to discuss issues such as their mental wellbeing, stress, confidence, or desire to make healthy lifestyle changes with managers or colleagues, but coaching provides a neutral ground where people can share safely and get real results. And by safeguarding and supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals and groups, engagement is improved, teams become healthy, positive, and resilient, and management time is reduced.

Coaching compliments existing occupational health arrangements and wider workforce wellbeing strategies, preventing ill-heath.

I would design a bespoke package based on the needs of your organisation but it would typically include a combination of 1:1 and group coaching. We would use our first meeting to uncover your organisational needs, I would take this learning and design a package that would work best for you.
